Wexford and Missaukee Counties are located in the north central portion of Michigan's lower peninsula. Barns, homes, and other buildings are adorned with painted quilt blocks, inviting tourists to visit and explore the area.

Friendship Star
Judy Jenema is a quilter who likes to quilt with friends, so she chose Friendship Star for the quilt block which is on the "fun barn". The Jenema family at one time had a John Deere dealership, and they collect John Deere memorabilia, so the color choice for the block was a no-brainer. Reg and Judy live on her parents' Centennial farm located 1/2 mile east and 1/2 mile south of Vogel Center at 10701 S. Spoelma Rd.
